Puff! And they were gone!

Despite the slow foggy drive into Framlingham Market today, trade got off to a brisk start. It was great to meet Vij and Rob from The Curry Puff Company with their delicious Curry Puffs. The Puffs sold really well, available in Lamb, Vegetarian and Spicy Apple. In fact they sold so well that Rob had to return to base to pick up more supplies to meet demand at lunchtime.

Lucy from The Great Glenham Bake had another sell out, with her delicious Chick Pea & Lentil Rolls. As well as her usual home baked goodies, including Aga baked sausage rolls, various sweet and savoury tarts, and her too good to miss chocolate brownies.

It was great to see lots of continued support for the market today, and nice to see a good variety of stalls, creating a great atmosphere in our lovely Market Town, Framlingham.

Remember, you never know what you might find on Framlingham Market!

New Stall – Ngiri-giri – Fairtrade Bags from Kenya

Another new stall added extra colour and choice to Framlingham Market on Saturday. Mary Ann Coupland brought some amazing Fairtrade bags from Kenya. Ngiri-giri bags are handmade in Kenya, using local material from leather, cotton canvas and locally made traditional cotton material, called kanga, creating bright, long-lasting and totally individual bags in a variety of styles and sizes. Each Ngiri-giri bag is unique! You will find a bag for every use, from Barrel bags to Weekender bags and even Ipad and Laptop bags.  Mary will be attending Framlingham Market once a fortnight.

New Stall Coming Saturday 15th November

Hello and a very warm welcome.  We are The Curry Puff Company. A Malaysian street food, our puffs are a fresh, sumptuous and hot, deep-fried puff pastry snack. The puffs come in 2 flavours. Vegetable (vegetarians/vegans) and Lamb (carnivores). The vegetable puffs have a Thai curry filling with sweet potato, butternut squash, lime juice, lemon grass and of course lashings of creamy coconut milk. The lamb puffs have a Madras style to them, packed with goodies like spinach, onion and potato. We use fresh spices in all our puffs.

Our passion and enjoyment of food runs through every aspect of our business. Street food we feel should be a fun as well as delicious, new and exciting. Our puffs have gone down a storm at various recent events including the Debenham Street Fair and A village Affair (at Debenham Leisure Centre). We use local suppliers for our vegetables and meat and we boast a Five Star Food Standards Agency Rating. We look forward to tantalising your taste buds.
