A little piece of Suffolk history
PART OF SUFFOLK'S MARKET TOWN HERITAGE
At Framlingham Market, we’re proud to be a small part of Suffolk’s rich heritage. Since Hugh Bigod – the third Earl of Norfolk – granted Framlingham its license to hold weekly markets back in the 13th Century, we’ve been doing just that.
Suffolk towns with regular, thriving markets aren’t quite as commonplace now as they were back in 1285AD, but Framlingham’s twice-weekly market continues to be popular with local residents and visitors with its friendly atmosphere, wonderful location and fabulous fare.
We’d love you to join us. So why not swing by on a Tuesday or Saturday and browse our range of original artisan goods and local farm produce? Here are some of the stalls and vendors that we have on offer.

Tuesday & Saturday
WHEN ARE WE OPEN?
We are open every Tuesday and Saturday. On Tuesdays, we start at 08:00AM, and finish up around 04:00PM.
On Saturdays, you’ll find us setting up shop from 08:00AM and wrapping up at 05:00PM.
Please note, the Tuesday market is smaller than our Saturday market, and we may close a little early from time to time. So it’s best to get in quick!
How to find us
FRAMLINGHAM MARKET LOCATION
As is often the case with Suffolk towns, you’ll find us right in the middle of Framlingham. It’s a short stroll down the hill from Framlingham Castle, or just up-a-ways from the Co-op Supermarket car park.
