Congratulations to Friends Farm :-)

Congratulations to Keith and Val from Friends Farm for a great effort and result on Saturday. They were awarded 3rd place for their Winter Sizzler sausage. The town was buzzing even more than usual with the Sausagefest in town on Saturday. The weather held out and the atmosphere was great. It was nice to see a lot of new faces in Framlingham.

The Great Glemham Bake

Lucy Robinson had been baking as The Great Glemham Bake for over 2 years now. With a background in restaurants and owning her own delicatessen business for 10 years she is no stranger to cooking.

You will notice familiar smells of sausage rolls, cakes and pastries wafting up the lane if you are nearby on a Friday evening, as she prepares for Framlingham Market!
All baked in the Aga, the sausage rolls are the ‘main event’ using Suffolk Sausage meat from Hall Farm Butchers in Fram and Friends Farm. Tasty flavours are added such as apple & walnut chutney, home made caramelised onions & Jules & Sharpie Hot Pepper Jelly.

Savoury tarts are also popular along with brownies, lemon & blueberry tarts, chocolate & pecan tarts and peanut butter booster bars.
There are often new recipes to try and orders are taken. For further information call Lucy on 01728 663444.

You can find Lucy most Saturdays on Framlingham Market throughout the year.

Framlingham Market welcomes Crafty Mrs Fox!

‘Crafty Mrs Fox’ is Nicola Grayson a resident of Framlingham, who works with ‘fine silver’ to create pendants, charms and rings.  Fine silver is 99.9% silver (purer than sterling silver).  The silver is recycled from a variety of sources, such as computer circuit boards and silver from photographic supplies.

Nicola describes her designs as simple and contemporary.  She handcrafts the pieces from start to finish, so no one is the same.  The little flaws are part of what makes Crafty Mrs Fox unique and special!

Crafty Mrs Fox can customise her designs, so just ask Nicola if you’d like something personalised.  You can also order via her website www.craftymrsfox.com

Nicola also loves wool craft, so you might also catch some of her ‘Crafty Creatures’ on the stall, which are needle felted.
