Lucy Robinson had been baking as The Great Glemham Bake for over 2 years now. With a background in restaurants and owning her own delicatessen business for 10 years she is no stranger to cooking.

You will notice familiar smells of sausage rolls, cakes and pastries wafting up the lane if you are nearby on a Friday evening, as she prepares for Framlingham Market!
All baked in the Aga, the sausage rolls are the ‘main event’ using Suffolk Sausage meat from Hall Farm Butchers in Fram and Friends Farm. Tasty flavours are added such as apple & walnut chutney, home made caramelised onions & Jules & Sharpie Hot Pepper Jelly.

Savoury tarts are also popular along with brownies, lemon & blueberry tarts, chocolate & pecan tarts and peanut butter booster bars.

Simon has a great range of cheeses to satisfy all tastes, along with his large range of flavoursome pork pies. Simon has over 800 cheeses available to him from his suppliers, so feel free to order the cheese of your choice. If it’s not available on the day he will get it in for you.

Over the Moon Cafe
After all that shopping, why not take a rest bite with one of Gosia’s festive coffees, hot chocolates or a delicious spiced apple, followed by a crepe or waffle, or even both if you’ve worked up a real appetite!

We had a great selection of stalls on Framlingham Market on Saturday. Roger from Etheridge Nurseries had a good day selling lots of his home grown vegetables.

Luis from The Taste of Spain had a great day selling his new delivery of Spanish Olive Oil plus lots of other specialities.

Christian from Austrian Wines and Spirits had a good day and sold out of two of his wines which he will restock asap!

Gosia from Over the Moon Cafe trialed a new Spanish Crepe, and it went down a storm. Delicious!

We had another great range of quality fresh and smoked fish from Darren Smith Fishmongers. His fish is sourced as locally as possible and buys from suppliers from all around the coast so that he can offer the freshest fish and widest variety possible, to meet his customers ever growing appetite for something different. Darren never disappoints!
